A one hour vinyasa flow class prepares your body for 20-30 minutes of Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep. The vinyasa portion will begin with simple breathing exercises leading into a gentle asana practice, followed by 20-30 minutes of Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation that promotes healing and deep relaxation. Often referred to as a yogi’s deep sleep, Yoga Nidra is an awakened state hovering between sleeping and dreaming. You will leave feeling refreshed, focused and very rested. You will be laying on your back for the meditation. You may need a blanket or pillow for neck support.
