Brittnie Aiello
Brittnie began practicing yoga over 20 years ago when a friend introduced her to Bikram. A lifelong exerciser, she was drawn to the challenge and intensity of the heat. When she discovered heated vinyasa a few years later, she fell in love with the athleticism, rhythm, and joy of the flow. Brittnie has been practicing at Elephant Tree since opening weekend and is just so grateful to have a wonderful yoga space and community right down the street from her home in Ipswich.
Brittnie completed her 200 YTT with Tricia Philpott in 2022. She signed up with the goals of deepening her practice and spending time with a like-minded crew of yogis but did not necessarily want to teach for fear it would take away from her own practice. However, she found quite the opposite. Sharing her love of yoga informs and inspires her own practice, and vice versa. Brittnie seeks to teach a fun, energetic, creative class where students can be themselves.
Brittnie has a PhD in Sociology from UMASS Amherst and works in higher education. She lives in Ipswich with her two children, husband, and rescue pup, Eloise. When she’s not in the classroom or on the mat, Brittnie loves going to the beach, travelling, as well as eating, drinking, and laughing with her girlfriends.
