Crista Provencher, RYT

Crista’s yoga journey began 12 years ago when she was new to the fitness (mostly running and spinning) and thought that a yoga practice would help aid and complement her routine. Unsure what to expect, she started with a slow restorative flow, taking classes weekly. She soon fell in love with the mental clarity and peace it left her with.

Crista has been a lifelong athlete, but her primary focus was always on gymnastics and cheerleading. Crista is a 200 hour RYT and completed her first training In April 2017 at Empower Yoga under the teachings of Tricia Philpott. As a student and newly trained teacher, she is so thankful for the spiritual health her practice has brought her and can’t wait to share her gift with others.

Crista has worked in healthcare as a Dental Assistant for 7 years and decided to take on a new career path in 2014 working as a Chiropractic Assistant. With her newly acquired education for chiropractic care as well as the insight and knowledge she has gained throughout her teacher training, Crista is eager to keep reaching forward to the mind body-awareness journey she has been on. In her spare time, Crista enjoys reading, running, and spending time outdoors. Crista lives in Peabody with her husband Ryan and is looking forward to starting a family soon.
